Pizza Chef Riccardo, a native of Abruzzo, Italy, was trained under World Pizza Champions and Master Instructors, Graziano Bertuzzo and Gianni Pompetti. He immigrated to America along with him his dream of bringing a high quality pizza using the finest ingredients to the New York Metro area. Together with his wife, Anna and brother in law Frank L'arte della Pizza Brooklyn was born. Your go to spot for gourmet pizza by the slice or pie. Every slice and every dish is made with love. We are committed to freshness and quality. That's why Master Pizzaiolo Riccardo sources fresh and quality ingredients. His commitment to daily preparation of fresh ingredients is reminiscent of living in Italy. While growing up in his small town surrounded by family, extended family & friends, ingredients would be picked fresh from the land or bought fresh that day from the local butcher or lattacini store for fresh fior di latte, cheese, salumi and more! He would peruse the local weekly markets for ingredients to bring home and create special dishes. Master Pizzaiolo Riccardo brings a special small town flair to Brooklyn. We also import specially selected products that are D.O.P. designated. D.O.P. stands for Denominazione di Origine Protetta or Designation of Origin in English. This certification is awarded by Italy to food products that are locally grown and packaged., ensuring they come from the specified region and meet strict quality standards. This designation protects the origin and ensures that we are selecting highly quality, natural ingredients and products.
